阿部龍一
ライシャワー日本研究所日本宗教担当教授
慶應義塾大学経済学部卒業後、ジョンズ・ホプキンス大学ポール・H・ニッツェ高等国際関係大学院にて修士号を取得。その後、専門を宗教学に転じ、コロンビア大学にて哲学修士号・博士号を取得。主に、仏教と視覚文化、仏教と文学、仏教の言語理論、日本密教史、仏教と神道の交流、仏教とジェンダーについて研究している。学部生・大学院生を対象に、東アジアの宗教及び中近世日本の宗教等、多岐にわたり教鞭を執る。
