Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies (RIJS) has a longstanding history of commitment to providing the funding to support graduate training, research, and professional development for students enrolled in a Harvard Ph.D. program in the humanities and social sciences, with work focused on Japan. The following support is available annually from the RIJS.
