2022 Tazuko Ajiro Monane and Noma-Reischauer Awards Ceremony

On Monday, December 5, 2022, the Tazuko Ajiro Monane and Noma-Reischauer Prizes were awarded to this year's recipients in a ceremony held at 5 Bryant Street.

This year’s Graduate Noma-Reischauer Prize was awarded to Mayako Liu for her paper, “Envisioning and Enacting Imperial Integration: Colonial Tourism in ‘Northern Korea’ 1931-1945.”⁠ ⁠The Undergraduate Noma-Reischauer Prize was awarded to Kento Yamada for his paper, “Meaningful Contact with Immigrants and Support for Immigration: Evidence from Japan.”⁠
