Christina L. Davis awarded Foreign Minister’s Commendation by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan

On Monday, March 25, Christina L. Davis, Edwin O. Reischauer Professor of Japanese Politics in the Department of Government and Director of the Program on U.S.-Japan Relations, was awarded by Foreign Minister’s Commendation by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, in a ceremony at the official residence of Consul General Kotaro Suzuki. She was recognized for "contribut[ing] to the promotion of Japan research in the U.S. and to the mutual understanding between Japan and the U.S. by providing young leaders of Japan’s next generation with opportunities for intellectual exchange with the U.S. and for deepening their knowledge of Japan’s international role."
