Professor Christina L. Davis Interviewed for Asahi Shimbun Article about 2020 US Election

Christina L. Davis, Director of the Program on U.S.-Japan Relations at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, Professor of Government in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Susan S. and Kenneth L. Wallach Professor at the Radcliffe Institute at Harvard University, was featured in the Asahi Shimbun on November 9, in an article titled "トランプ→バイデン でも、バラ色の世界は戻ってこない" ["Trump to Biden: but no return to a rose-colored world"]. In the article, Prof. Davis predicts the new Biden administration's policy, including strengthening measures against COVID-19, promoting economic stimulus, moving away from the US unilateralism formerly promoted by the Trump administration, and negotiating the expansion of trade agreements with Japan and Europe. She also predicts that the Biden administration will encourage gradual, but not immediate, change in trade policy with China.
