Professor Christina L. Davis Quoted in New York Times Article about Japan's Prime Minister

Professor Christina L. Davis,  Director of the Program on U.S.-Japan Relations at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, Professor of Government in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Susan S. and Kenneth L. Wallach Professor at the Radcliffe Institute, was recently quoted in the New York Times. Titled "Japan's Next Prime Minister Emerges from Behind the Curtain," the article responds to the announcement of Shinzo Abe's resignation as Prime Minister of Japan and the election of Yoshihide Suga. Professor Davis reflects on this change, "Japan is not a country with revolutionary reform taking place very often… Especially in times of crisis and uncertainty, being seen as a stable crisis manager could be an asset."
