Sky Russell (Harvard College '20) Awarded First Place in Aarhus School of Architecture's Photo of the Year Competition

Sky Russell (Harvard College, History of Art & Architecture, '20), was awarded first place in the Aarhus School of Architecture's Photo of the Year Contest for her work in Tenryumura, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, as part of the Japan Summer Service-Learning Program (JSSL) organized by Middlebury College. Competitors were asked to submit collections of five images exploring the theme of people and architecture, and Sky's series documented the daily life of a weaver in Tenryu-mura in southern Nagano and explores the "link between design and people."
