Sky Russell (Harvard College '20) Featured in Local Japanese Newspapers for Work in Tenryumura, Nagano Prefecture, Japan
During July and August 2019, Sky Russell (Harvard College, History of Art & Architecture, '20) was featured in several local Japanese newspapers for her work in Tenryumura, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, as part of the Japan Summer Service-Learning Program (JSSL) organized by Middlebury College. In this program, over the course of four weeks, participating students work, learn, and engage with local residents in both the Tokyo metropolitan area and the rural mountain village Tenryumura.
