Toshiko Mori interviewed for NHK Direct Talk "An Architect's Mission: Mori Toshiko / Architect."

Toshiko Mori, Robert P. Hubbard Professor in the Practice of Architecture at Harvard's GSD, was interviewed for NHK’s Direct Talk "An Architect's Mission: Mori Toshiko / Architect." Originally broadcast in August, this news segment is available on demand on the NHK website.

Prof. Mori, also the founder and principal of New York-based Toshiko Mori Architect, PLLC and Vision Arc, won the prestigious Isamu Noguchi Award in 2021 and has received global acclaim for her ability to serve society and humanity while respecting the natural environment.

In Spring 2024, she will be teaching at the GSD an advanced studio course on the future of Mingei (Japanese folk art movement), which will include a travel component to study its culture, tradition, and craft and its intersection with other global art and craft forms.
