YASUKO MATSUMOTO
Preceptor in Japanese
Yasuko Matsumoto joined the Japanese Language Program at Harvard in 2009. She teaches Intermediate Japanese II (130a/130b). She received her M.A. in Applied Linguistics from Texas Tech University. Her research interests include Japanese language pedagogy, second language acquisition, and sociolinguistics. Before coming to Harvard, she taught at Texas Tech University, Williams College, University of Minnesota, and University at Davis, as well as language programs in Harvard Extension School, Harvard Summer School, Japan Center for Michigan Universities, International Christian University, and Hokkaido International Foundation.
