Harvard East Asian Monograph Series (HEAM) publication, Lost Histories: Recovering the Lives of Japan’s Colonial Peoples, by Kirsten Ziomek awarded the 2021 John Whitney Hall Prize, Honorable Mention from the Association for Asian Studies. The Hall Prize, now in its 27th year, is awarded for outstanding English language books published during 2019. The awards ceremony which will feature awardees from 2020 will take place on March 24 at 5:30 PM EDT during the annual AAS (virtual) conference.
