Kosuke Imai publishes new paper on legislative redistricting in Japan
Professor Kosuke Imai of the Department of Statistics and Government recently co-published a paper titled "Estimating the Partisan Bias of Japanese Legislative Redistricting Plans Using a Simulation Algorithm," with Sho Miyazaki (Graduate School of Business, Stanford University) and Kento Yamada (Harvard College '24). Prof. Imai will soon present this research at the University College of Dublin.

Reischauer, the Noma-Reischauer Prizes in Japanese Studies are given annually to the best essays on Japan-related topics written by a Harvard undergraduate and graduate student. In early December 2024, the Reischauer Institute will award the following two individuals at the annual ceremony and reception held at the Japanese Language Program on 5 Bryant Street.
