The Fine Arts Library at Harvard University has recently published a newly updated version of "Early Photography of Japan" on CURIOSity. This virtual collection pulls together over 2,000 images from more than 40 souvenir photograph albums and illustrated publications from Japan held by the Fine Arts Library, Harvard-Yenching Library, and Widener Library.

RIJS 2019 Summer Science Participant Michelle Wang Published Article in The Lancet

2019 RIJS Japan Undergraduate Summer Science Research Program participant Michelle Wang (Chemistry, Harvard College 2020), recently published an article titled "Burden of chronic hepatitis B and C infections in 2015 and future trends in Japan: a simulation study" in The Lancet, a leading international medical journal. This research was based on research conducted at Hiroshima University during her time in the summer science research program.
